Here's some information to read before getting tattooed. If you have any questions about the process feel free to get in touch. It can be quite daunting to book your first tattoo and I'm happy to answer any questions you might have.
Before your appointment please consider the following-
-Get a good nights sleep! Being well rested will make a big difference to how you handle being tattooed.
-Make sure you have eaten well and feel free to bring snacks/food/drink if you want! There’s also plenty of cafes close by and we have lollies for a sugar hit :)
-Do not drink excessive amounts of alcohol or take aspirin for 24 hours before your appointment as this thins the blood.
-If you’re on any blood thinning medication or you have drank heavily please let me know beforehand.
-If you have dry skin it’s good to moisturise the area where your getting tattooed for a few days prior to the appointment.
-Don’t use fake tan before your appointment as we have to thoroughly clean your skin before applying the tattoo stencil!
-Please let me know if you have any allergies or skin conditions.
-Wear suitable clothes, for example, bring shorts if you’re getting a leg tattoo, back tattoo’s you can wear a button-up shirt and put it on backwards so your front is covered, think how you can be comfortable but expose the area to be tattooed easily. We have screens that can be put around the station for your privacy if you like.
-Remember there’s no pressure, no expectations, everyone has different pain thresholds and we can always stop and finish at a later date if you want. The balls always in your court and if you feel uncomfortable just let me know. I will check in with you regularly to ask if you're comfortable.
-You can take a break whenever you would like. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you feel like you need a break for water, a stretch or anything else.
-If you’re in for a long session we can take a half hour lunch break half way through or whenever you need.
-If I haven’t sent through the design we will go over that when you arrive and make any changes until you’re 100% happy with it.
-You must be 18 or older and provide ID if asked. I do not tattoo under 18 even with parent consent.

-please stay home if you have any symptoms and we’ll reschedule your appointment for when you feel better.
-please come alone to your appointment during orange traffic light system.
-you must wear a mask throughout the entire appointment.
